Howling Monkeys

freedom to express yourself

This multi-colored drawing depicts a pair of Howler Monkeys, noisy primates known for their territorial roars audible up to 3 miles (5 km) away. They are most active at dawn and dusk, and frequently spotted in trees.

In this drawing, they are depicted as a pair that appears in a single, merged form. Their presence will be known, whether you agree to it or not. There is something freeing about releasing primal howls into the deep, dark jungle. I think that sense of freedom can resonate with anyone who feels suppressed or unable to speak their truth. Let go. Howl!
